Stouffer Mill offers most of the amenities of a larger resort but affords the intimacy and attention that only a bed & breakfast can offer.
The guests can roam our 136 acre forest estate, marvel at the panoramic view of the wetlands, or, if you are quiet and patient, maybe some wildlife at the 10 acre active beaver pond, all on our year-round 5 Km nature trails. There are complimentary walking sticks for the spring, summer & fall and snowshoes for the winter and of course a trail map. As well, only 40 minutes from Algonquin Park and the Haliburton Forest & Wildlife where you can find even more hiking adventures.

“My wife and I also hiked the trails in the property made by Don and named after the dogs that have been a part of the family before Sasha. The trails were well marked and the beaver pond was spectacular! It was an awesome experience hiking through fresh snow covered with fall leaves. There are also some awesome waterfalls and sights to check out in the surrounding area. If you’re reading this review, definitely look into booking a stay at this magical BnB.”

“This property is truly amazing! That’s not an understatement. The 12 sided home is incredible, situated on top of 140 acres of woodland in the Algonquin Highlands, overlooking Halls Lake, and that’s just the beginning.” “The several trails cut through the woods, and the large beaver pond with nesting Blue Herons, provide a great nature hike.”
