Hike FullIntro to E bikes in Eagle Lake

Perfect for anyone that is interested in trying out an e-bike but doesn’t want to commit to a longer ride. We provide the bike. Helmets are mandatory; Bring your own or rent for $10/Person. We suggest you wear shoes comfortable for walking and biking, bike gloves and padded cycling shorts.

We will cover the basics including shifting gears and using the variable power-assist options. Our bikes are pedal-assisted, meaning you need to pedal to add power. This is suitable for all skill levels, from those who are avid cyclists to those who rarely get on a bike. It is for anyone willing to try something new.

If you have your own e-bike and want to join, please inquire to see if there is space.

DURATION: 1 hours, 5 – 15km

LOCATION: 2474 Eagle Lake Rd. About 750m from the Eagle Lake County Market in the direction of West Guilford. On the same side of the road as the store. Look for a brown cottage close to the road.

RATING: Moderate.  Hike will be a mixture of moderate on trail hiking and flat, but off-trail walking through the forest. Participants must be sufficiently mobile to walk off-trail to participate in this hike.

LEADER BIO: FR Bike is run by Victoria Fenninger, an enthusiastic supporter of getting outside and trying new things. She is an active cyclist that enjoys any time spent on a bike. She has competed in many triathlons, mountain bike and adventure races but also enjoys going out for leisurely rides with friends and family. She enjoys being outside surrounded by nature and loves learning how to identify new plants and flowers, especially if they are edible.
